I enjoyed how the author took the time to really build the racing side of the story so you really got a feel for the sport as well as the couple's story. I loved Noahs character he was more complex than meets the eye and Maya was sweet but also feirce and feisty. The story took me a while to get into but once i hit the half way mark i really startes to enjoy it and Maya and Noahs chemistry was insanely hot and super steamy. There she meets cocky, handsome and super confident Noah who has a reputation for being a ladies man and happens to a not so great past/interactions with Maya's brother and is also his team mate in racing. Maya decides to join her brother while he competes in the grand prix F1 racing tournament where she can kick start her new vlogging endeavour while also traveling the world. Hrottled is a the first novel in a new companion novel series by debut author Lauren Asher, it follows Maya and Noahs story. Can’t wait to get through the rest of the series. Lauren Asher once again coming through with an amazing read. Their bond I also loved Maya’s relationship with Santi, it was just so pure and the way that he protects her while she’s travelling around with him is so precious. This whole book was just perfect, the banter, fighting and tension between Maya and Noah was chefs kiss and the amount of love he had for Maya was so special. Noah’s growth amazed me, the way that he changed and became a better man not only for Maya but for himself. I loved how it was a slow burn but not too slow and we got to see the progression of their relationship. The way that this book made me squeal, laugh and cry, I could not get enough of it. This book has absolutely made me in love with F1 and I am so grateful that I read it. I could so vividly imagine everything so clearly and it felt as though I was there with them travelling and at the races. The whole aesthetics of the book was amazing, it didn’t feel as though I was reading at all. If you’re looking for your next □ sports romance, look no further than “Throttled” by I can’t wait to pick up her next novel in the “Dirty Air” series □ I slightly wished there was more drama in it, but I’m so happy that I picked up this read. This for me, added to the excitement and anticipation of what was to come in the story.“Throttled” was such a cute and light book to read. It was so beautifully written with lots of scene building so that readers could easily picture race days and the energy involved. I enjoyed seeing both main characters grow and watching Maya find herself and Noah growing as a character. The story of Maya and Noah was forbidden, complicated but so incredibly □□□ The longing, stolen moments and just the chemistry between these two was phenomenal □□□□I also loved the details the author went into about racing and the atmosphere at each race. I loved her confidence, personality and passion for the things she loved to do. I completely fell in love with the characters. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I love a good sports-romance read, and this one DID NOT DISAPPOINT □□□□□□ Like a lot of books these days, I saw it on TikTok and thought I’d give it a try.
